The event “One bus, one Tree”
"Thibaut’s forest" to celebrate 13 centuries
of history of the Mont Saint Michel

For 1300 years, the Mont Saint Michel has been welcoming pilgrims from the entire world.
Today it’s more than 3 000 000 millions of visitors who
come every year to stride along its alleyways.
The project of Restoration of the Mont Saint Michel’s Coastal Nature
will definitely increase its attendance by several years.
Make you discover the Mont Saint Michel "another way"
Created in 2002, Mont Saint Michel Voyages is a receptive agency which makes people discover the Mont Saint Michel another way. It offers unique activities (tours in calash, walks in the Bay accompanied by local fishermen, virtual visit commentated for people with restricted mobility or tours in bike).
Exclusive tours, a la carte stays
Year by year, the agency has been setting up resources to answer to the expectations of every single kind of visitor whatever are their reasons to travel. But the major asset of Mont Saint Michel Voyages is that it works exclusively with service providers and guides native from the region offering a la carte stays and exclusive tours.
Local products French cuisine and grandiose setting
In 2006, our group has renovated a former Polder’s farm in Local products restaurant renowned for its cuisine in a bread oven over wood fire. This restaurant "the Saint Michel Farm"is located at several hundreds of meters from the Mont Saint Michel and nearby the sandwich bar "Le Jardin d’Anouck" which offers tasty lunch baskets to take away, as well as delicious salads.
The event "One bus, one tree"
Thus, the set of activities fits in with the Bay’s scenery and our impact on the environment is relatively weak. We wish, to support the tourist development of our region, and protect the environment, that is why we have decided for the 1300 anniversary of the Mont, to launch an event "one bus, one tree" and to create a forest which will be a sanctuary for the Bay’s wildlife and flora and a holiday spot for visitors.
Plant a tree, it is offering a priceless treasure to our grand children.
The passengers of the coaches and the coordinators of the seminaries will be asked a symbolic contribution. This contribution will be used to buy trees, which will be planted by the tourists themselves, they could thus accomplish an eco-citizen act, useful and recreational.
