Departure from Boucey
After having followed
the swamps of the Couesnon’s low valley, the crew will cross the old district of Pontorson going in front of the Church built at the XII century. The crew will then pass the mills’ road, overhanging the Couesnon’s valley and will go to the Polders to reach the meadows where salt-meadow sheep graze. During this walk, our leader will mention the project of Restoration of the Mont Saint Michel’s Coastal Nature and introduce to you the works in progress. Return to the Couesnon’s shores.

Departure from the Restaurant LA FERME SAINT MICHEL
You will embark at the front of the restaurant and the leader will drive you directly near the construction site of the dam, the first stage of the big works of the Restoring of the Maritime Character of the Mont Saint-Michel. It will be an opportunity to make you explain the functioning of the work as well as the main lines of the project. You re-show then in the carriage for measure the banks of Couesnon up to the racecourse of the handle of Moidrey. From there, you will join the road of Moulins where from you can admire one of the last mills with cereal reconditioned and the magnificent view(sight) on the banks of Couesnon and Mont Saint-Michel. You will take back your stroll until Beauvoir, last village before the Mont Saint-Michel, then by following the future parking lot and having crossed the swamps of the east polders, you will join the farm.
